김태우는 쿱미디어와 태우’s log(한글), 그리고 테크노김치(영어) 등의 여러 블로그를 운영하는 국내 IT/인터넷 미디어업계 블로거 중 한명이다. 2005년부터 국내에서 “웹 2.0과 뉴미디어”의 정의와 가능성에 대해서 논의했으며, 2007년 10월에는 한국을 대표하는 테크놀로지 블로거로 CNN에 출연했다. 저서로는 웹 2.0으로 인한 경제구조의 변화를 심도있게 다루는 ‘미코노미’가 있다.

김태우씨는 삼성SDS에서 연구원으로 4년간 재직했으며 오픈마루에서 글로벌 마케팅을 담당했다. 2009년에는 네트워크 시대의 새로운 비지니스 설계 및 방법론을 구축하는 Cosmic StatioN and Associates의 Co-Founder로서, CommunicatioN, Platform, Media 부분을 담당했다.

코넬대학교에서 컴퓨터 과학 학사와 석사 학위를 수여했다.

Taewoo Danny Kim is one of the leading IT/Web 2.0 bloggers in Korea behind qOoOp Media and Taewoo’s log(Korean) and TechnoKimchi(English) blogs. He’s also known as the very first full-time blogger in Korea. His passion is about informing the rest of the world about the “cool digital things” happening in Korea. He’s been featured on numerous mainstream media, such as CNN, SBS, and several other newspapers.

Taewoo Danny is also the author of Meconomy, a book on the economic analysis of Web 2.0. Prior to becoming a full-time blogger, he worked for Samsung SDS as a researcher for 4 years and also helped Openmaru with global marketing. In 2009, he passionately sailed as the co-founder of Cosmic StatioN and Associates, a company dedicated to creating new business methologies and modeling for the network age. His area of interests spanned: CommunicatioN, Platform and Media.

Danny holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in computer science from Cornell University.
